As with the Wiki, the logo you see above is merely a place holder to see how the pages will look like, more or less, with a logo installed on the banner. The 3D effect of the logo and banner text has been removed for better readability.

The person designing the graphics gets carried away sometimes. If she had her way, all the titles of the articles would have glass button backgrounds. Not exactly fitting for the web site of an academic community so clean lines and text maximized for visibility and readability are the rules we’re trying to live by. After all, it is the content that is of primordial importance and we do not want viewers to feel too awed with funky web design that the content becomes secondary.
