Tungtong River Explorers

Tungtong River explorers

Our first attempt at looking for the source of the river last April 9, 2007. This picture was taken on top of the river’s first waterfall on its way to Pasig River. From left: Jad (3rd HS), Margot (3rd HS), Jomar (2nd HS), Pea and Vincent. Pea and Vincent are friends of our HEdCen students.

Springwaters of Balete

Balete (a Filipino word for a tree belonging to the genus Ficus) contains two large spring-fed pools. The two pools are favourite haunts of children and housewives for various domestic purposes.
