There will be no classes for the 3rd and 4th yr HS students tomorrow, August 3, 2007. The 1st and 2nd years will have classes as usual. Refer to the letter below. Thank you.

Dear HS Parents,

Greetings!

This is to inform you that there will be no classes for High School Years III and IV tomorrow, August 3, 2007 to give our children the chance to register for the barangay elections. Note however, the following:

1. That, if your child is a 3rd or 4th year HS student and 15 years old or older (or turning 15 on or before October 27, 2007), then he/she must present a proof of registration on Monday, August 6, 2007;
2. That failure to present such a proof will mark your child absent for tomorrow, August 2, 2007;
3. And that said absence will require your child to attend a make-up class on Saturday, August 11, 2007 from 0730H to 1500H.

After registering, your child is expected to stay home and do assigned schoolwork. Note that tomorrow is not a free day. Let us view it, instead, as an alternative learning experience as our children exercise their civic rights and so fulfill their obligation as Filipinos.

Note also that High School Years I and II will have regular classes tomorrow, August 3, 2007.
