The 05 August 2007 edition of the Sunday Inquirer Magazine featured Bingbing Clemente (or Binggirl, a.k.a. Lupe and Skie Carranza’s mom) on how she and her cousin, Judith Pustrado, recycle tarpaulin sheets into bags. In an article entitled “From Garbage to Baggage” by Claire Agbayani, Binggirl mentioned that “The HEdCen varsity team will use the tarp bags as football bags, with the slogan ‘Better People, Better Earth’ printed on them.”
