Seafood Watch

Mr. Iggy Tan referred to me this great site. I haven’t explored it fully but what I’ve seen so far is highly informative. We need more initiatives like these that target unsustainable lifestyles. Only by changing our attitudes and the way we live our lives could we save our Mother Earth. Let’s think green!

I would also like to urge the science teachers most specially to make use of information you can get from this sites as part of functional science. Let us have the guts and confidence to close our textbooks once in a while and visit sites of information to link what the students are learning to current and real issues.

Since we’re on the subject of Mother Earth, I would like to suggest MMLDC along Sumulong hi-way as a field trip venue. The children won’t just be learning, they’ll also be helping children from public schools. Check out their website mmldc.org
