Helping Each Other: The Parent-Child-Teacher-Conference
It’s PCTC (Parent-Child-Teacher-Conference) time once again this Saturday, the 20th of September, and we’d like to encourage everyone to come early and welcome this opportunity not just to see how our children are doing, but also to meet the new teachers of the school.
Even with its increase in enrollment in recent years, HEdCen endeavors to maintain the closeness of the ties with parents and avoid the impersonal nature that often affects traditional schools with large student populations.
Parents generally wish to be assured that the teachers have come to know their children well. Regular communications with the teachers play an important part, so let’s continue with the wonderful sharing of efforts and help each other in nurturing the holistic educational growth of our sons and daughters.
For those among us who may be new to the PCTC concept, check out these links that provide insights on this growing trend, as well as tips on how to benefit more from these interactions. From TodaysParent.com, we have Say Your Piece: How to Make the Most of Your Parent Teacher Interview. There’s also Mom Central.com’s How to Handle Parent-Teacher Conferences.
Hope to see you all there tomorrow! ![]()
