For all its birthing pains and techno jinxes, 24 the Christmas program had all the symptoms of a blockbuster - there was music, singing ladies, dancing teeners, prancing crazy reindeer, FIREWORKS!, rapping and a ROCK band, cute lead stars, and parents who stayed the whole night applauding and clicking their cameras away.

One of the highlights of this year’s Humanities Festival held last week was the “Better People, Better Earth” art mural group competition in the grade school level. Rendered on blue felt paper, the artworks present wonderful interpretations of the school’s slogan. Here they are:
