Stethoscopes & Thermometers: Doctor Domingo Talks to TLFH Pre-Schoolers
The doctor is in the house, The Little Farm House that is!
Long-time HEdCen parent Dr. Jun Domingo made a house call on the pre-school last Friday, the 13th of February, and introduced the Level 1-A kids to the world of stethoscopes and thermometers. He talked about the role of doctors in the community, and had a great time interacting with the little tykes by showing them how a reflex hammer works and why having your temperature taken doesn’t hurt.
Some of the pre-schoolers came garbed in white coats or long-sleeved shirts and ties. This early, these physicians-to-be were already trying their best to look the part!
Teacher Madel’s wards also enjoyed playing with the penlights and toy medical kits that Dr. Domingo gave out.
