3.    As part of the school’s aggressive campaign on dengue prevention, the school enforces the policy on constant application of insect repellant for all students. While the school implements other supplemental measures periodically to rid the school environment of mosquito dengue carriers, this awareness and active precautions must be reinforced even at home. Please follow up on your child’s mosquito repellant spray.

4.    The SEVEN-DAY quarantine policy of HEdCen with regard to swine flu remains until the Department of Health and the Department of Education would advise the school otherwise. In the meantime, let us fight sickness effectively by bolstering our immune system with vitamins and nutritious food, and by practicing safe personal hygiene.

Thank you for your constant vigilance and cooperation.

Dear Parents:

Greetings of Peace.

Starting July 1, the parents, the students AND the school will be STRICTLY following its security policies for visitors in the Grade School and High School campus.

  1. The waiting area for all visitors/parents fetching their children from school is outside the school gate or in the designated waiting area only. There is NO SMOKING inside and outside the school campus, including the waiting area (please see Student Handbook GS p. 42, HS p. 38).
  2. All visitors are required to set prior appointments with the teachers and offices in order not to disrupt classes and the over-all integrity of security of the school. They are to refrain from proceeding to the classrooms or to the faculty lounge to meet with the teachers unless they have a pre-set appointment (Student Handbook GS p. 42, HS p. 38).
  3. All visitors with vehicles are to observe traffic courtesy at all times. Vehicles parked in the vicinity of the school must have their engines turned off (Student Handbook GS p. 44, HS p. 40).
  4. The only school gate for receiving visitors and entrance and exit for all students and personnel is Gate One located in front of the school.
  5. Delivery of items forgotten at home like homework and change of clothes is discouraged and will not be accommodated by any personnel of the school. Warm lunch may be deposited with the school guard and should be claimed by the student only during breaks.
  6. No student activity, unless otherwise previously announced, is to be held after the set curfew of 6:00 PM. Students must  have gone home or must be headed home by this time (Student Handbook GS p. 44, HS p. 40).
  7. When boarding school buses after dismissal, student riders are discouraged from leaving the buses to play or loiter in the streets. While waiting for their school bus to leave for home, students are to stay inside the school bus or stay in campus.
  8. Students are not allowed to loiter in Beverly Hills subdivision during school days, especially in sari-sari stores, isaw places, billiard halls, computer shops, and the like.
  9. For use during breaks, students are reminded to bring their own eating utensils for convenience and sanitation purposes. We encourage the washing of hands before every meal and the application of hand sanitizer in general.
  10. For all varsity players, the year-long varsity training and tune-up games scheduled for Saturdays is to begin. Please inquire with your child’s football coach regarding the details of the schedule.

Through the practice of these guidelines, we hope to safeguard the interests and welfare of our students and YOUR children at all times.

Thank you for your constant support and cooperation.
