Arts & Humanities Festival: Story Book Character Attire on Wednesday, January 13

Dear Parents,

Greetings of Peace!

In celebration of the Arts and Humanities Festival from January 11-15, all HEdCen students from Grade One to Fourth Year will come in their best Story Book Character attire on January 13 for the entire day. They may use any character from English or Filipino stories. Additionally, they will introduce their characters on stage in no more than two sentences. Participation will form part of component grades for English, Arts and Music. Prizes will be awarded to the best Story Book character interpretations.

The costume must be made of recycled materials. Allowable materials are as follows:

  1. Old clothes
  2. Old cloth (katya, curtains, rags and the like)
  3. Newspapers, magazines or any other used paper
  4. Dead twigs, leaves or rocks
  5. Old paint - poster, acrylic or watercolor

Please submit the attached reply slip on or before January 8.
