Sports Fest Circular

Dear Parents:

The Annual Institutional Sports Fest is scheduled from February 17 to 19 with the opening rites of the games scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on February 16. Aside from valuable enrichment opportunities for the children to learn sports variety, leadership, camaraderie, teamwork and socialization, the participation of the students on these days will form part of the grading procedure for Physical Education this trimester.

Students are to bring the following things:

1. packed lunch and extra snacks and water;
2. extra clothes, caps/headgear, sun block; and
3. specific medication for unique medical cases.

Parents are reminded to immediately clarify any specific medical case of their children to the class advisers for proper monitoring.

Each student will be playing for a Team color and will be sporting a team jersey to be used for the entire Sports Fest. The team jersey is at Php 250.00. Please forward your payments to your child’s class adviser by Tuesday, February 9.

The allowable dress code for players aside from the official team colored shirt is as follows:

a. Boys: shirt, (walking) shorts, jogging pants, cut-offs, long pants*, sneakers, rubber shoes, sandals**
b. Girls: shirt, jogging pants, (walking) shorts***, cut-offs, long pants, sneakers, rubber shoes, sandals**

*Denim or jeans (maong) is allowed.
** Only decent slippers are allowed.
*** No short shorts are allowed.

The official time for students on these days is from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
