As the date for the formal launching of the site draws nearer and nearer (drum roll), we would like you, parents of HEdCen pupils and students, to know that :
1) We welcome your written contributions to the site and we are preparing the mechanics for your submissions;
Due to extreme pressure from certain quarters, may we present two football-inspired blog themes available only at HEdCen.Com.
We hope you have been checking the list of “Recently Updated Blogs” on the side panel. A few blogs are up already and we’re hoping that their owners will start posting soon. To make things a little easier, some tutorials have been posted explaining some basic things.
As with the Wiki, the logo you see above is merely a place holder to see how the pages will look like, more or less, with a logo installed on the banner.

We already made a list and it’s been checked more than twice. It’s really nice that we are able to tick off one item each time the list is reviewed.
We just ticked off “photo albums” in the list.
It’s not the official logo; it will merely serve as a placeholder until we have the proper one. The person doing this web site sucks big time at making logos, so, please bear with us.

Aside from the free e-mail account mentioned in the previous entry, HEdCen faculty members and students will also get free hedcen.com/yourname blogs. Not only are the blogs free, they are also ad-free. And we will strive — hard — to always let them remain free and ad-free.

Members of the academic staff and students may now avail of username@hedcen.com e-mail accounts.
To avoid duplicates and to ensure that HEdCen e-mail accounts remain exclusive to bona fide members of the HEdCen community, each account will be manually activated.
