Our kids attend the same school but beyond the casual greetings, we really don’t know much about each other.

We see each other on graduations and school affairs but names and faces are easily forgotten after the programs end. If we see each other outside the school, will you recall where you’ve seen me? Will I know why you look so familiar? Or do we scratch our heads and say, “I’ve seen him/her before… I just can’t remember where…”

Old age? Nah, of course not.

It is simply a fact that it is easier to remember someone if we can connect the face with a name. And it is easier to remember a name if we can connect it with some substantially unique information.

Isn’t it about time we got to know each other better?
