A very different breed of students

parenting 101, everyday heroes

Today, as I write this, the school is teeming with students wholeheartedly learning on a SATURDAY!!!!
The attendance is almost 99%! The students as well as the teachers are learning and teaching as if there is no tomorrow, figuratively speaking.

We are making the most of what is left in the first trimester which ends on September 6 and time is not really on our side- what with another Monday off on August 26! But we say, be proactive. Let us not be defined by how much time we have on our hands but by how much we can do in every second of very limited time.

As I have encountered many admirable students in my lifetime, these children in HedCen at The Little Farm House is a very different breed. Save from those who are still adjusting to our system (new students), a great number is taking on the challenge of learning as a regular routine. I would like to give credit to our parents who are making this great effort of changing the world through courageous education.
