Up Close and Personal with Lepidoptera: The Butterfly Exhibit

Science Week 2009’s Butterfly Exhibit drew a lot of kids who enjoyed the fascinating close encounters with these fragile insects. The handlers manning the exhibit gave students mini-lectures on lepidopteran life cycles and tips on how to gently coax the winged beauties onto little fingers or into cupped palms.
