For incoming freshmen (1st year High School students)

Although the term freshmen smacks of a sexist attitude, I used it in preference to freshpersons. Hey, if anyone out there knows the more politically correct term to use in reference to an incoming 1st year high school student, then please give me a shout.. I’d sure appreciate it.

What follows is a list of science textbooks you will need for High School. You may place your orders for these in the school library though what you will get are black and white, softbound copies (low price editions). I strongly recommend that you invest in the full color, hardbound editions since you will be using these texts for four years in High School and even in College.

Biology and Ecology
Campbell, Neil A. and Jane B. Reece. Biology, 6th edition (or later). Benjamin Cummings: San Francisco, U.S.A., 2002.

Chemistry

Physics
