Victorious!

Jared Tolentino raises his fists as the referee sounds the final whistle with HEdCen 96 ahead by 3 goals against Marist in last year’s RIFA tournament (AY 2006-2007). This young lad is only on his 3rd year with the sport but has consistently developed into becoming a more effective player at an amazing rate each year. Jared will lead HEdCen boys born 1997 in this year’s football tournaments.
Game Plan

HEdCen’s Midgets B plans to prevent Ateneo from completing a sweep of the elimination round and force a championship match between the Redwoods and the Blue Eagles. Though HEdCen fought valiantly, they lost 4-3 and Ateneo won the RIFA Midgets B division gold medal.
Summer Football Participants

No time is wasted, not even summer break for HEdCen footballers to prepare for future competitions. Above are some of the participants of HEdCen Summer Football Training with enrollees from all age groups, girls and boys.
Mr. Small But Terrible

Troy Cervania kicks the ball as HEdCen’s goalkeeper in last year’s RIFA games. His role has evolved from defender to keeper to midfielder and even striker or forward. He is an all-around guy on the field whose skills have improved dramatically after 2 months of summer football training. He is a candidate for this summer’s Most Improved Player.

Rest Day
By Juan Carlos Gutierrez
Today will have to be a rest day for me. I will probably be absent tomorrow as well. I have a terrible infection on my knee and its been bothering me since it got into my system 5 days ago. I hate to miss my Science classes and football training but I will have to attend to my health first. Hopefully, I’ll be back by Thursday or Friday. I can’t move much but my brain is fully functional so I’ll be working in my room today. I’ll ask Coach Sugar to facilitate football training later in the small field.
June 25 Reminders
1. Please take care of our soccer balls during practice. They are very expensive. If you kick them out of the fence, retrive them right away or inform your coach where you kicked your ball. Let us please help each other take care of the facilities which after all is for the use of all of us.
2. We have new white mizuno balls. Each coach will be assigned to either the size 4 silver mizuno balls, size 5 blue balls or white balls.
3. Speed ladder training will start on Thursday. You may view a video clip of the exercise on this site:
