The One Thing I Really Want to Do

Outside School, Random Thoughts, Academics No Comments

Comm. Arts Blog Entry Number Four

If there’s one thing I’d really want to do, that would be to ride one of those roller coasters with loops that enable you to hang upside down in air. Yes, believe it or not, I have not been able to ride any of these rides whenever we’d visit amusement parks.

Ever since I was young, I’ve always wanted to ride these things. Unfortunately, this idea doesn’t seem as smart as when I imagine it than when I stand in front of the real ride itself. Enchanted Kingdom is one of the venues that support such a feature and sadly I always prefer Anchors Away, a less life-threatening ride, than Space Shuttle. I was probably too much of a chicken those days to even venture out and try something new.

Funny thing is, the one time I really convinced myself to ride a “loop-y” roller coaster the ride was closed. It was about one or two years ago when we went to Hong Kong to sightsee. Ocean Park’s rides were closed because of the rain. Quite unlucky, wasn’t it?

Oh well, I’m looking forward to riding one of those “loop-y” rides sometime in the future. Until then, I’ll just keep on trying to convince myself not to chicken out once in front of the actual roller coaster itself.

:D

Important Notes!, Academics No Comments

Music Group:

Okay. For those of you who are my groupmates in music, we should be able to finish the song by tomorrow. Don’t worry, as long as you know the two patterns, completing the song would be no sweat. JM, stop saying you can’t play. You’re actually learning pretty fast for someone who only plays the guitar every music time :D . Just kidding. Anyway, BRING your guitars tomorrow and the tabs I photocopied for you. We’ll be practicing at either dismissal or lunchtime. Erik and I will have to be late for varsity, but since the presentation is the next day, we’ll gladly give our time. Right, Erik? Well, I just gotta say good luck to us!

Comm. Arts Group:

Apaule and I will be finalizing the script today so we would be able to practice tomorrow. And we should finish it by tomorrow. We’ll be practicing at either dismissal or lunchtime so mark your skeds at about those times. I hope we finish tomorrow. JM, don’t forget to bring your cardboard!

Class:

When are we going to talk about the bulletin board? We should finish it by Friday. Sir H is checking that day. Yeah, and Physics Problem set, Prac Arts Plate # 8 and Fine Arts Plate # 3 are all due tomorrow. Good luck with the homework!

What am I scared of?

Academics 2 Comments

I’m not scared of frogs, or snakes. I’m not scared of the dark, or creepy, supernatural creatures.

I am scared of spiders.

I hate them. I hate them with pure, unadulterated hatred. I hate their eight, hairy legs and the many mean eyes on their heads. I hate the way they crawl up walls or how they can just pop out of somewhere without the least bit of warning. They’re evil. They’re creatures from hell. A simple glance at them would send shivers up my spine.

I must say, public humiliation has no say to those creatures of the devil called spiders.

My life…

Random Thoughts, School Life 1 Comment

…is almost, almost officially over.

I swear, I am not gong to school tomorrow. I’ll be absent and the others will be taking their time in presenting, without me of course, and I’ll be having a fun time sleeping at home without any dancing to worry about. Whoop-dee-doo.

Of course I can’t do that. As much as I want to do exactly what I said in the previous paragraph, I can’t.Especially after I’ve seen that…that video (it’s an outrage, a scandal!) my confidence level went down, down, down the drain.

I’m gonna melt then and there and the whole presentation will be ruined and everyone’s gonna panic since one of their students/schoolmates have melted into a pile of useless, sticky goo.

Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now…

Oh the life of eternal embarrassment!

Random Thoughts 1 Comment

(Got tagged by T. Ygy. And I’m gonna tag seven unlucky people! *evil laugh*)

Instructions: So you start off with seven random habits or facts about yourself. You choose seven other people to get tagged and list their names, then leave a comment in their blogs telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog. Okay?

1. I like to roll a pen between my thumb and forefinger when I’m thinking or very bored/impatient. Most of the time, it’s the latter. I tend to do it alot when I’m spacing out, sometimes even tapping my desk repeatedly and producing annoying clicking noises that, weirdly, I like. There’s this one class that I do it alot. I’m not sure whether it’s because I’m thinking or I’m bored. But I have a great hunch it’s the latter reason. Ha! Bad, bad me.

2. I have teddy bear named Sam, and we shall call him (I like to fancy my stuffed toys as human beings like me, thank you very much) by that name from now on for convenience. I’ve had him since the sixth grade when Mom bought him home after a business trip to the States. Needless to say, I love that bear (though I wasn’t the one who named him; my cousin did, since I’m such a sucker at giving names) so much that I can’t sleep without hugging him. Even when we went to Baguio for the Leadership Training, I brought him with me just because I love him so much and can’t stand a day without him, though I practically didn’t get to hug him once wee got there. The four other people with me held a weird fascination for him.

3. I was a complete Snow White fanatic about six to seven years ago. When CDs were still non-existent and the fad was with Video tapes I owned a collection of Disney classics and my favorite was the fairest of them all, Snow White. I’d play the tape again and again and agian then pretend to be Snow White complete with all the running around anr fainting scenes. Funny thing is, I’d have Mom act as the Wicked Witch.

4. Tea is one of the beverages that I find very delicious, despite the weird water-y taste. The faint smoke wafting up from the cup and the soothing aroma mingled with it is one of the best calming medicines that I could ever have. Dad and have share a pot of Green Tea almost every Sunday (Mom and little bro don’t like it as much as we do). Though I absolutely don’t like Jasmine Tea because the scent and taste make me want to puke. I dunno why.

5. We watched Godzilla in a movie house when I was three or four. At the part where the military captures the huge greenish dinosaur and entangle him in nets, I cried. I was such a baby back then. I don’t know why, but I suddenly felt remorse for Godzilla and his/her (?) little kiddos (the eggs that the little people burned) when they were brutally murdered. (Yes, I will use that word since I believe Godzilla deserves a fair trial at least. I mean, c’mon! Godzilla was a freaking dino. What kind of carnivorous dino won’t have the urge to kill?)

6. I have never played Sims in my entire life. I tried installing one Sims CD in Mom’s laptop but it was faulty and didn’t want to run. I really, really want to try it one day because I want to check if it’s as cool and addictive as the others make it sound. I know, I know. I missing out on all the action in life. But Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories kinda makes up for the Sims loss. GTA is one of the best games I’ve played! I have this strange affinity for wanting to steal cars and running over completely helpless people. Plus beating them up? Ah, priceless! Sometimes, a little violence in life won’t harm you. Sometimes.

7. Speaking of strange affinities, I have a strange affinity for hair and hands. I like to hold my brother’s hand alot, or any other hand for that matter, as long as it’s smooth and temptingly cold or smooth and relaxingly warm. For hair, I find guys who do the hair flip cool. Y’know, hair flip? When they move their bangs to one side by nudging their heads? Charming’s hair bounce in Shrek III was okay and acceptable enough but hair flips are one of the best feats a guy could accomplish. Having a girl do it though is different, since it looks cooler on guys (not a comment meant for discrimination or sexism; it’s just what I honestly feel).

So there! Seven random habits or facts about me. Now let’s see…who could be my unlucky victims…? Aha! I’ll pass it to Apaule, Tricia, Ate Samantha, Ate Joan, Joshua, Riana and T. Dawn. *evil laugh*
