According to Reader’s Digest Word Power Dictionary happiness is a noun meaning: feeling or showing pleasure or contentment.
Don’t you think the meaning is a bit lacking, incomplete? The true definition of happiness can’t be found in any Webster’s dictionary but rather, inside. You would know it when you’re feeling elated. No one would tell you, “Hey, you’re happy!” There’s just this feeling inside that compels you to smile or to laugh.
Furthermore, happiness isn’t just a byproduct of winning the lotto or getting 3,000,000 in Deal or No Deal. Sure, those things give you sheer, utter delight but even the simplest of things can bring true pleasure to a soul be it a high score in an exam or a joke of a classmate.

Comm. Arts Blog Entry Number Four
If there’s one thing I’d really want to do, that would be to ride one of those roller coasters with loops that enable you to hang upside down in air. Yes, believe it or not, I have not been able to ride any of these rides whenever we’d visit amusement parks.
Ever since I was young, I’ve always wanted to ride these things. Unfortunately, this idea doesn’t seem as smart as when I imagine it than when I stand in front of the real ride itself. Enchanted Kingdom is one of the venues that support such a feature and sadly I always prefer Anchors Away, a less life-threatening ride, than Space Shuttle. I was probably too much of a chicken those days to even venture out and try something new.
Funny thing is, the one time I really convinced myself to ride a “loop-y” roller coaster the ride was closed. It was about one or two years ago when we went to Hong Kong to sightsee. Ocean Park’s rides were closed because of the rain. Quite unlucky, wasn’t it?
Oh well, I’m looking forward to riding one of those “loop-y” rides sometime in the future. Until then, I’ll just keep on trying to convince myself not to chicken out once in front of the actual roller coaster itself.

Music Group:
Okay. For those of you who are my groupmates in music, we should be able to finish the song by tomorrow. Don’t worry, as long as you know the two patterns, completing the song would be no sweat. JM, stop saying you can’t play. You’re actually learning pretty fast for someone who only plays the guitar every music time
. Just kidding. Anyway, BRING your guitars tomorrow and the tabs I photocopied for you. We’ll be practicing at either dismissal or lunchtime. Erik and I will have to be late for varsity, but since the presentation is the next day, we’ll gladly give our time. Right, Erik? Well, I just gotta say good luck to us!
Comm. Arts Group:
Apaule and I will be finalizing the script today so we would be able to practice tomorrow. And we should finish it by tomorrow. We’ll be practicing at either dismissal or lunchtime so mark your skeds at about those times. I hope we finish tomorrow. JM, don’t forget to bring your cardboard!
Class:
When are we going to talk about the bulletin board? We should finish it by Friday. Sir H is checking that day. Yeah, and Physics Problem set, Prac Arts Plate # 8 and Fine Arts Plate # 3 are all due tomorrow. Good luck with the homework!

I’m not scared of frogs, or snakes. I’m not scared of the dark, or creepy, supernatural creatures.
I am scared of spiders.
I hate them. I hate them with pure, unadulterated hatred. I hate their eight, hairy legs and the many mean eyes on their heads. I hate the way they crawl up walls or how they can just pop out of somewhere without the least bit of warning. They’re evil. They’re creatures from hell. A simple glance at them would send shivers up my spine.
I must say, public humiliation has no say to those creatures of the devil called spiders.

I should be back in the bedroom, watching the love story of Jeremy Choi and Angeline Lee but instead I’m here in the family room, taking another much needed break time from all the homework dumped on us. There are two lab reports due tomorrow (Bio and Chem), an AS in Chem, a quiz on Plot and the two stories, Moondoggie and How my Brother Leon Brought Home a Wife, and probably an AP quiz since we didn’t take it today.
I’m missing out on varsity a lot. I’ve been MIA for three days, including today. As much as I really want to go and play soccer under the rain, I am unable to because of the tons of homework piled on us (and Kumon, but that’s easily managed). If I play varsity, I’d finish my assignments later than twelve (my sleeping time these past few days). Chances are, my schedule will be normal again by next week so this irregularity in my daily life is just temporary. Unless… the teachers pile us with homework again.
Ahh!!! General Assembly on Monday! And it’s our turn to present! Oh no, oh no, oh no…
Actually, we’re just practicing our presentation. It’s a mix of all the ideas my classmates came up with last…Tuesday? Ha! I won’t tell you more than what I already told you and you already know about our presentation. It’s a surprise! It’s on Monday, 7.30 am.
I’m really hesistant to go back to doing my homework. But alas! Duty calls and when the infernal call of duty is calling, someone must answer the call. That someone is incidentally me. Great, just great.
Back to my Chem lab report!
