Passive

A Perfect Circle

“Dead as dead can be,” my doctor tells me
But I just can’t believe him, ever the optimistic one
I’m sure of your ability to become my perfect enemy
Wake up and face me, don’t play dead cause maybe
Someday I will walk away and say, “You disappoint me,”
Maybe you’re better off this way

Leaning over you here, cold and catatonic
I catch a brief reflection of what you could and might have been
It’s your right and your ability
To become…my perfect enemy…

Wake up (we’ll catch you) and face me (come one now),
Don’t play dead (don’t play dead)
Cause maybe (because maybe)
Someday I’ll (someday I’ll) walk away and say, “You disappoint me,”
Maybe you’re better off this way

Maybe you’re better off this way
Maybe you’re better off this way
Maybe you’re better off this way
You’re better of this; you’re better off this;
Maybe you’re better off!

Wake up (can’t you) and face me (come on now),
Don’t play dead (don’t play dead)
Cause maybe (because maybe)
Someday I’ll (someday I’ll) walk away and say, “You ****ing disappoint me!”
Maybe you’re better off this way

Go ahead and play dead
I know that you can hear this
Go ahead and play dead
Why can’t you turn and face me?
Why can’t you turn and face me?
Why can’t you turn and face me?
Why can’t you turn and face me?
You ****ing disappoint me!

How Deep Is Your Love?

How Deep Is Your Love

Bee Gees

I know your eyes in the morning sun

I feel you touch me in the pouring rain

And the moment that you wander far from me

I wanna feel you in my arms again

And you come to me on a summer breeze

Keep me warm in your love and you softly leave

And it’s me you need to show

How deep is your love? (How deep, how deep is your love?)

I really need to learn, ‘cause we’re living in a world of fools

Breaking us down, when they all should let us be

We belong to you and me

I believe in you

You know the door to my very soul

You’re the light in my deepest darkest hour

You’re my savior when I fall

And you may not think that I care for you

When you know down inside that I really do

And it’s me you need to show

How deep is your love? (How deep, how deep is your love?)

I really need to learn, ‘cause we’re living in a world of fools

Breaking us down, when they all should let us be

We belong to you and me  And you come to me on a summer breeze Keep me warm in your love and you softly leave

And it’s me you need to show

How deep is your love? (How deep, how deep is your love?)

I really need to learn, ‘cause we’re living in a world of fools Breaking us down, when they all should let us be

We belong to you and me

One of the greatest songs ever made in the history of music industry. Double thumbs-up! Hmm… I guess you wouldn’t quite know this song if you’re about my age (unless you’re a friend of mine ‘cause chances are, you’d be hella bored by listening to me sing it all the time) but if you’re interested, I suggest you take a look at your parents’ CD rack. Well definitely OOC (out-of-character) for me, this song, because I stick by the “I’m not sappy and girly and soft” image but hey! Sometimes it’s nice to try out something different.

To all you romantic peeps out there (Aww, c’mon! Don’t be shy! Admit it na!), here’s How Deep Is Your Love!
