Getting my hair out of my face.
I’m not used to tying my hair to get it out of my face. I’m not used to wearing a hair band either.
I know I used to think that it would be better that way, but then I started getting insecure with my HUGE FOREHEAD and UGLY FACE… At least according to some people.
My mom and my lola scolded me for not tying or at least fixing my hair. And recently, a guy asked me why I didn’t (I’ll mention his name later. I still have a continuation eh). I got annoyed, so I tried wearing a hair band to school. On the first day, to my surprise, I got several positive comments. I was still negative about the idea so I decided not to continue.
Okay… so later on that day, that guy asked me why I was wearing a hair band, then I said because I wanted to see how people would react to it and I also told him that I would stop. He told me not to, seeing that I wasn’t going to change my mind, he told me that if I wore a hair band again the next day and got at least 5 compliments, then I should wear it the whole week. I didn’t count on it so it was a bet…
As usual, I was mistaken. I got 11 compliments (Yes, I really did count) and I have to wear the damned thing the whole week. I tried to hide it from him, but he remembered. Ryan, if your reading this… I promise you I’m never gonna agree to another bet with you soon…
….okay … so maybe there are some good convenient things that I get from fixing my hair, like when the fan is put beside me, my hair doesn’t fly over my face, I get to concentrate more, and my hair doesn’t sting my eyes… but that’s it! Nothing else aside from getting more compliments from mom and dad. On the other hand, I feel more insecure about my face and about how my hair is fixed. T_T
